Sigh....

It's been 2 months since I've gotten redundant....

What is going on?!

Why is it so darn hard in getting a job?!

I'm not asking for a 100k per annum job, nor that I'm asking for any thing that is complicated enough....

I JUST WANTED A CHANCE FOR ME TO PROVE THAT I AM A WORTHY EMPLOYEE!!!!

That's all I have been asking for....!!!!!!

Sigh.... That XXX promised me a 2 years work.... now, not even 2 months full then laid me off....

Lay me off it's fine... I get it that market now is bad... and you lost 2 major client.... but don't add in all those bullshit at the end... But telling me that one of the reasons I got fired because there are 5 clients complained that I was asleep during my work!? F@#$ you!!! There aren't even that much of clients came through that door, you piece of sh*t!!!

I've even started my OT the 3rd day I went in!!! It's just that I didn't let you know, because OT is expected by a newbie!!! And by not telling you is because I dun think that's worth mentioning it.... I did OT voluntarily is because I wanted to get the job done!!! YOU ASSH&*E!!! Not doing it to please you!!!

Looking for a job is so darn hard now..... Not with what's going on here....

Changes in Life

Back to KK.

Returning to KK this time, a lot of changes makes me feel that I'm getting older...

Looking back, I used to be a cheerful, and mind free person. The more I've gotten older, the more thinking and consideration I need to make. My 1st consideration is, my love life? This time coming back, my parents kinda (well, one asked directly, and one kinda hint hint to me...) worried that why I'm still single... It's not that I'm not anxious, but it's just that I'm looking at a significant personality....

Then, looking at teenagers now, at such young age, they are holding IPhone, Galaxy S3, and what not.... and they are still not satisfied with what they have got... And the parents will just give what the children wants.... Back in my days, if i threw any tantrums, I'll definitely get a good spanking by my parents...

Another thing that makes me gets chill in my spine was, a teh ping at any ordinary restaurant cost RM2.00!!!! WHAT????!!!!! you gotta be kidding me...... KK's standards of living is getting ridiculously high....  Food and stuff here are badly proportionally much much higher than KL!! I still remember last year Bibi bought a dress in KL that cost only MYR15, saw the very same piece here in KK, and it cost MYR45!!!! I know you wanna earn money, but this is ridiculous!

Joining the rat race makes me getting greedier! Cause I've got higher earning power, hence I want more! Now I wanna have my own transport and also my own place to crash.... need to work for another 2-3 years before I can start investing or say start mortgaging fixed asset.

Out With The Old, In With The New

Today, 31 Dec 2010,
the end of 2010,
heading to 2011.

Looking back on 2010,
try to remember what I have done.
Was utterly useless this year.
Failed badly academically,
and was anti-social as well this year.

So, this coming new year,
will have turn back like I was back in 2009.
And will challenge myself more like I did back in 2009!!!

New year resolution:
->graduate!!!!
->slim down
->get my dream camera

and there goes the list...
ho ho ho...

Eating @ The General Practitioner

Went to have dinner at The General Practitioner on the 27th Sept.

This restaurant was a long standing restaurant in Wellington. 

The outermost of the restaurant was vintage,

however, every time I pass by it, it never fail to capture me attention.

Finally, I've gotten a chance on trying its dinner menu, 

along with the same gang,

Me, Mossy, Nicole and LP.

Had a very huge misunderstood during that day.

Days before, the 4 of us actually decided to have dinner at another place called White House,

however, after LP got back home,

me, Mossy and Nicole suddenly changed our plan to the GP, instead of WH.

So, what happened was that none of us remember to update LP about the change of plan,

and somehow, LP double check with the time with us on the very day,

yet, none of us remember to let him know the change of place.

So, LP ended up in the White House,

and the rest of us went to GP.

LOL

While waiting for LP to come over to GP from the White house,

the 3 of us played with the camera for a bit,

taking pictures of the interior, 

taking pictures of us...

After finished SS'ing, 

we finally sat down quietly and looked at our menus.

We waned to wait for LP together to order our dishes, 

but we are too hungry,

so we ordered an entree and our mains.

The dishes turned out to be above average,

but my dish was the best of all,

it was the Confit Duck Leg,

roasted and served on potato roast with pickled red cabbage and cranberry chutney.

Mossy had venison,

it was quite good, but not as superb as White House's venison.

Nicole had  the Lamb Rump,

it was roasted Canterbury lamb served with potato gratin, savoy cabbage sauté with butter and black pepper.

LP had the Beef Fillet,

 char grilled 200g steak served with café de paris butter and hand cut chips.

The entree we ordered was Salt and Pepper Squid,
served on pickled cucumber with chilli jam.

The GP had only limited main dishes. GP does more wines and spirits than doing mains.

There are huge selections of wines in GP.
